Mishkovsky, Zelda

(1914-84)
   Israeli poet. She was born in Chernigov in the Ukraine. She emigrated to Jeruslaem at the age of 11, and taught in a religious school for girls. Her poetry contains ultra-Orthodox and modern sensibilities. She became known by her forename alone.
